Green End's Local Building Company
Local Builders for Homes That Need to Work Better
Sometimes you don’t need a different house. You need the one you already love to work properly again. A kitchen where everyone can actually sit together. Another room so working from home stops taking over the dining table.
A bathroom that makes busy mornings easier. Or that garage full of boxes finally becoming useful space. GCS Build helps make those changes happen.
Building Services for the Way You Actually Live
Homes rarely stop working overnight. It happens gradually. The family grows, belongings multiply, working habits change and rooms that once felt fine start becoming frustrating. GCS Build takes on everything from individual improvements to larger residential building projects, helping you change the home around the life you actually live now.

Builders Who Give Straight Advice
Inviting someone into your home for major building work takes trust. GCS keeps things personal and practical, with homeowners speaking to experienced tradespeople rather than being passed through a sales team.
The company is comprehensively insured and a member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, with clear advice before decisions are made.
Extension Builders Since 2003
House extensions are a genuine area of specialist experience for GCS, not simply another service on a list.
The team has been completing extensions since 2003 and has delivered hundreds of projects, creating larger kitchens, additional bedrooms, open-plan living spaces and complete single or double-storey extensions, with Building Control handled and a 10-year guarantee on completion.
Building Work Managed With Care
Having work done at home affects normal life. There’s noise, dust, decisions to make and the worry of whether people will turn up when expected.
GCS understands that the job is happening inside someone’s home, not simply on a building site, so communication, respect and keeping the project organised matter throughout.
We needed professional help to reshape a couple of rooms that never quite worked. GCS Build gave practical advice, coordinated the necessary trades and kept the whole job moving smoothly.
Tom was helpful on site and the attention to detail on the carpentry is clear. The house feels more practical now and the process was far more straightforward than we had anticipated.
